“Nothing Gold Can Stay” - 16 x 20 inches - Oil on Canvas

While on a hike on Robert Frost’s Interpretive Trail in Ripton, VT I was struck by the vibrant autumn colors displayed under this majestic white pine. The contrast between the everlasting nature of the pine and the fast changing colors of autumn leaves made me reflect on the poet’s famous poem “Nothing Gold can Stay”, urging me to appreciate this fleeting moment.
