adirondacks mountains dead creek

“Gold Rush on Dead Creek” - 11 x 14 inches - Oil on Canvas

Dead Creek is a slow moving body of water worshipped by local fisherman and water fowls. This painting captures the reflections of the reeds and the clouds in the water on a still autumn afternoon. The muted Adirondack mountains in the background and the rich grasses in the foreground created a pleasant transition between the sky and the water.
