“Pastoral Scene of Addison” - 14x18 inches - Oil on Panel - 2021

On my way to town this lonely farmhouse often catches my eye. I have driven past it from the east and from the west, at different times of the day, and in different seasons. Each time, it stands out against the sunrise or sunset, against the backdrop of the mountain in summer or fall, or against the snow covered fields creating many different sceneries. In this painting I wanted to capture its simple elegance on a peaceful summer morning.
